It was in Sept. 1988 that Jeffrey Dahmer was made to
leave his grandma’s house, due mostly to her disapproval
of the many strange habits her grandson had. The late
hours he kept, strange smells emanating from his room,
always fearful of his deranged and dangerous attitude.
It was on Sept. 15th 1988 Jeffrey Dahmer moved into the
legendary Oxford Apartments located at 924 N. 25th St.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was here that things began to
climax and spiral out of control.....
Just days after settling in, he lured a Laotian boy
back to his new apt. After fondling him Jeffrey Dahmer
offered him cash in exchange for nude photos of the boy.
The boy declined and left shortly thereafter, he soon
informed his mother of what had happened, who then called
the police. Jeffrey Dahmer was charged with sexual assault,
and convicted in Jan. 1989 and free on bail, was left
to roam freely until his scheduled sentencing in May
1989. In Mar. 1989 a mere 2 months before he was to be
sentenced he murdered Anthony Sears. *
In May 1989 Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to a years
jail time and released after 10 months due to good behavior.
Jeffrey Dahmer was a free man again in March 1990. On
the prowl yet again, and hungry for flesh. Jeffrey Dahmer
had now perfected his MO; {mode of operation\modus operandi}
He would cruise the local gay bars picking up younger
gay or bisexual men by either offering cash in exchange
for nude photographs, or an invitation back to his place
to hang out and party. After getting them to accompany
him to his apt. He would then drug his victims unknowingly,
usually using their beer of whatever particular beverage
they were enjoying at the time. After the drugged victim
would pass out Jeffrey Dahmer then stabbed or strangled
them to death.
Using a hacksaw he'd then dismember their bodies. Jeffrey
Dahmer also took pleasure in saving "trophies" as
they are commonly referred to, from various victims.
He was proud of his work, and enjoyed having reminders
and mementos of his killings. His first 'trophie' was
the skull of Stephen Tuomi, his 2nd victim, and went
on to collect a number of these 'trophies', which were
revealed when the police ransacked his apt. in 1991.
The list is as follows:
- 2 drawers of a bedroom highboy crammed full with
Polaroid’s of severed body parts and mutilated
corpses in various stages of decomposition - one pictured
a torso where from the nipple down the flesh had been
eaten away with acid.
- An assortment of organs, intestines, lungs, livers,
and kidneys kept in a freezer along with 1 heart* and
2 human heads.
- In the fridge he had another human head stored alongside
an open box of baking soda.
- Stashed around his apartment Jeffrey Dahmer had a total
of 7 skulls, and 5 complete skeletons.
- Misc. remains of victims such as bone fragments, decomposed
hands, and sexual organs contained within a lobster pot.
- Also found were numerous bottles of Acid, Chloroform,
Formaldehyde, and 3 electric saws.
